    sweet & salty; soft & crunchy!

    since my childhood, i've always romanticized that scene from the proud family where oscar scarfs down the chicken n waffles during the theme song intro & i've always wanted to feel that exact same way every time i eat chicken n waffles. today i finally got to experience exactly what i was expecting from that childhood memory.
    i came here around 11:30am on a warm friday. the restaurant wasn't busy at all & they were blasting tevin campbell & more throwbacks. i was greeted by a nice black gentleman who gave me a lot of good suggestions from the menu. he told me the chicken n waffles is trendy around there so i went for it. i ordered it to go & was already out the door in less than 15 minutes. i appreciated that the chicken was separated by foil from the waffle so that one doesn't make the other soggy.

    i had too much fun eating this!! the chicken was hella hot, well seasoned & the breading was crisp which is how i like it! the chicken should always be crunchy! the waffle was my preferred style which was flat n not too bready. easy to cut, eat together & visually appealing too!
    i will be coming back here for more good eats! just wanted to show my appreciation to this restaurant for giving me the best chicken n waffles i've ever had before!!!

    Went with My Fellas had a really good experience. We missed breakfast but they served Chicken And Waffles all day. My friend got the shrimp poe boy. All satisfaction. Very neat and clean place and in a good location in the city. I will definitely be revisiting as should

    After searching on Yelp for the best breakfast in Jackson we stopped here while traveling thru on a road trip. Food was really good!!  The service could have been a little more welcoming but it was still okay. We enjoyed the music that was playing and the place seemed clean. I would definitely stop here again. Thanks fellow Yelpers for the tip!

    Chicken and waffles are great! Call ahead and order b/c they are cooked to order and come out sizzling hot! Easy parking and friendly staff!
